- Enoch has no known back story or affiliates. He simply wandered into Soul Society one day, making it all the way to the Captain Commander's quarters before even being noticed. Upon his discovery, he demanded the position of Captain of one of the Gotei 13 squads, but his unabashed behavior caused the Commander to lash out against the stranger. Before even the first blow was struck, however, Enoch was said to have stated something that caused the Commander to not only cease his assault, but appoint the strange man Captain of a squad separate from the Gotei designed for special operations. All of this took place hundreds of years ago before the former Captain Commander passed away in battle against a number of Hollow under mysterious circumstances. After the Commander's death, Enoch made a play for the vacated seat, but was found barred from the headquarters by the 13 Captains of the Gotei. Knowing that there were too many to face at once, Enoch surprised those gathered by materializing what appeared to be a Hollow's mask on one half of his face before vanishing into the night. He has since returned after hundreds of years absence, ready to claim the throne that sits on top of the World.

- Tall and lean, almost all of Enoch's body is covered in wrappings of some sort, almost like a mummified being. His face, however, is free of these bandages, leaving his stark white eyes visible beneath a shock of night-black hair. Metal armor of a kind also adorns the right half of Enoch's body under his Captain's robes, which are worn and tattered from years of use. The armor is pitch black and plated, covering everything from the entire chest across to the right arm, down past the right hip to the right foot. The gauntlet on the right arm is equipped with razor sharp tips on the fingers, which not only appear to function as a deadly weapon but also a marker of sort for Enoch, as a pattern of five claw marks have been found carved into structures all around Soul Society since his return. His twin Zanpaktou are holstered in white sheathes across Enoch's back.
